The original line-up of 1980s girl group The Go-go's reunited on Thursday (11Aug11) to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The pop band, fronted by Belinda Carlisle, unveiled the 2,444th pavement plaque outside the old Masque nightclub, where they performed their first show.
Singer Jane Wiedlin talked about the band's early days as she accepted the honour, telling the crowd, "We loved the Hollywood Walk of Fame even then. In our wildest dreams, we could never have dreamed our little band would get a star on the Walk of Fame."
The Go-Go's are currently touring in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their 1981 debut album Beauty and the Beat.
