Mel Gibson has been confirmed to play a Bangkok tattoo artist in the upcoming comedy movie 'The Hangover 2', a sequel to the 2009 smash hit. The actor, who is currently embroiled in a custody battle with ex-girlfriend OKSANA GRIGORIEVA, will begin filming his cameo appearance in two weeks, according to the New York Post.
The movie is being directed by Todd Phillips and sees Bradley Cooper and ZACK GALIFIANAKIS reprising their roles from the original film, and on Gibson's appearance a source said, "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros lot, where a Bangkok set has been build, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks".
It was recently announced that Heather Graham, who played a Las Vegas stripper in the original film, will not be re-joining the cast for the sequel, a Warner Brothers representative explained, "Unfortunately Heather won't be in the sequel - the way the story unfolds doesn't allow any room for her character to show up. I don't want to reveal too much of the film, but once you see it you'll understand". The movie is set for release on 26th May 2011.
