The Killers have announced their biggest ever concert.

The band - Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci - will perform at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday June 22, 2013.

It is the largest standalone show the group will ever play and at present it is The Killers only British date next year.

Wembley Stadium is the home of English soccer and can hold 90,000 people for matches and 105,000, standing and seating, for concerts and special events.

The four-piece - who recently released their fourth studio album 'Battle Born' - conclude their current sold-out UK arena tour with two nights at London's The 02 arena this weekend.

Tickets for The Killers at Wembley Stadium are priced between £35 and £65 and go on sale at 9am on Friday (16.11.12) from www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Limited pre-sale tickets are available to The Killers' fanclub, The Victims, earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Brandon has revealed he hopes to still performing in his 60s like two of his musical heroes Sir Elton John and Bruce Springsteen.

The 31-year-old singer loves playing live and hopes he will still be able to put on great concerts when he is going grey.

He said: ''That urge to perform is addictive. To start with, I was fearful of it, but now a switch has been flicked and I love performing and singing. If I'm lucky enough, I'll be around. Elton John has a new show in Vegas called 'The Million Dollar Piano', and it's amazing to see.''
