A planned revival of The Kinks musical written by frontman Ray Davies has been scrapped.
The singer debuted Come Dancing in London last year (08) and after the show closed, organisers planned to restart the production with a U.K.-wide theatre tour in 2010.
The shows have now been scrapped and ticket-holders offered refunds, but no official reason has been given for the move.
A spokesperson for Davies' studio, Konk, has released a statement about the cancellation. It reads, "Ray is extremely disappointed that the 2010 Come Dancing Tour will not be happening and will be issuing a statement in due course. I'm sorry many of you have been left without information. I won't be able to answer questions until I have been given the full statement."
