'The Voice' is just about ready to hit U.S. screens once again this autumn, with the four coaches Cee-Lo Green, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera all ready to return to their chairs and show a new batch of hopefuls the ropes.

The four, joined by producer Mark Burnett, hosts Carson Daly and Christina Milian, held a press conference last night at Burnett's scenic Malibu home to discuss some of the changes that the third series will be facing, including a new element called 'the Steal.' What 'the Steal' allows a judge to do is to pick a contestant that has already been under the guidance of another coach, but has since been deemed surplus to requirements and eliminated. In relation to last season, for example, this could mean that once Christina eliminated prodigy and show favourite Jesse Campbell, any of the other coaches would have then had the chance to take Jesse under their wing and claim him as their own apprentice.

Levine, Aguilera and Shelton all commented that the new arrangements to the show will surely make it the best series so far, although Cee Lo was a little timid when it came to bigging up the new series saying, "A few memorable things have happened thus far, but season three isn't completed yet, so I don't know if this is the favourite season yet", he said, reports Rolling Stone magazine. One thing that all of the coaches could agree on though was that this season the four of them are closer than ever.
