The Who Refuse To Retire From The Road
Veteran rockers The Who have vowed to never stop touring - because they want to enjoy their renewed popularity for as long as possible. Frontman Roger Daltrey and fellow surviving member Pete Townshend are soon set to embark on yet another tour of Japan and Australia, just months after finishing a lengthy world tour spanning much of 2006 and 2007. And despite both being in their sixties, the duo have no plans to retire. Daltrey, 63, says, "We don't want to stop now. We don't want the long hiatuses like we used to have. At this time in our lives you can't take liberties with time. When you're young, you've got time. When you're old, you don't."
