Thompson's Mcphee Set To Cast Another Spell Over Hollywood

Emma Thompson will be getting up to her old tricks in a sequel to hit 2006 family film NANNY MCPHEE.
The Oscar winner will star, produce and write the screenplay for Nanny MCPhee & the Big Bang, based on the Nurse Matilda books by Christianna Brand.
According to Variety, the sequel will also feature Dame Maggie Smith, Rhys Ifans, Maggie Gyllenhaal and The Boy in The Striped Pajamas star Asa Butterfield. Ralph Fiennes is also in negotiations for an uncredited cameo.
In the original film, Thompson played a governess with magical powers.
