Tiger Woods has reportedly taken out a 54-million dollar mortgage for his 'mega mansion' that is currently under construction on Jupiter Island in Florida. TMZ.com reports that the legal documents were filed on August 27th 2010, revealing that the world's number-one golfer would pay back the loan by January 15th 2016. The website also reveals that the estate will include a "tennis court, oxygen therapy room, several swimming pools and a fitness centre".
Woods recently split from his wife Elin Nordegren after their relationship broke down following the golfer's infidelities. In November 2009, the National Enquirer exposed an affair that Woods had reportedly had, which then led to a spate of women coming forward to reveal that they too had had affairs with the golfer. Nordegren and Woods attended a hearing at Bay County Circuit Court in Florida on Monday 24th August 2010, at which their marriage was finalised and described as 'irretrievably broken'.
Nordegren recently told People Magazine, "I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children".
