An acclaimed musical based around the sinking of the Titanic is heading back to Broadway for the first time in 15 years.

Titanic, which tells the story of the infamous 1912 maritime disaster, won five Tony Awards following its opening in New York City in 1997, the same year James Cameron's movie epic of the same name hit cinemas, and the show ran for more than 800 performances before closing in 1999.

However, theatre bosses are now bringing it back to Broadway. Titanic, directed by Thom Southerland, will open in the autumn (14).
