McFly singer Tom Fletcher has publicly apologised to his bandmate Harry Judd for "stealing his thunder" by releasing footage of his own wedding speech the day before official snaps of his pal's big day were published in the press.

Fletcher exchanged vows with Giovanna Falcone in London last May (12), and on Sunday (06Jan12), he shared a 14-minute clip from their reception which showed him singing the band's tracks to his new bride in lieu of a traditional speech.

The internet upload came just a day before photos of Judd's wedding to Izzy Johnston in December (12) were released in Britain's Hello! magazine, but Fletcher insists the timing wasn't intentional.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I read that article about me posting it to try and 'steal Harry's thunder'. I had no idea his wedding article was coming out this week!

"If I'd have known I would definitely not have put it up. I only got our wedding video the week before Harry's wedding so I couldn't post it before. The Judds' wedding was before Christmas so thought it was safe to do it now. Ooops! Sorry. No harm intended!"
