Rapper Trae Tha Truth has assured fans he is OK after sustaining a gunshot wound in a fatal incident outside a Texas club on Wednesday (20Jun12).
The Houston native, real name Frazier Thompson Iii, was hospitalised after he was hit by an unknown gunman but an affiliate took to Twitter.com on Wednesday afternoon to let fans and followers know the rap star will be fine.
Posting a photo of the rapper sitting upright in his hospital bed with a friend, the aide tweeted, "Everybody Trae is ok."
Three people were killed in the shoot-out, according to MyFoxHouston.com and police officials are still trying to determine a motive.
