Hbo - Treme Actor Found Dead In Mississippi River

TV actor Michael Showers has been found dead in the Mississippi River, according to New Orleans officials.
The 45 year old's body was found floating in the river on Wednesday morning (24Aug11), a day after his girlfriend reported him missing, a spokesman for the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office confirms.
Authorities do not suspect foul play.
Showers had a recurring role in HBO drama Treme, about New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He also appeared in Breaking Bad and The Vampire Diaries, and had film credits in Traffic and The Tree of Life.
