Country star Travis Tritt is launching his own record label for the release of his next album.
The singer's 2007 record, The Storm, was distributed through Category 5 Records but Tritt is looking for investors so his next project can be released independently.
He tells Billboard.com, "(I'm) working on putting together investors to be a part of it. We're getting very, very close to getting it off the ground.
"It's strictly gonna be me - I don't have any partners whatsoever on the creative end, just from a financial standpoint. I feel like I've got enough experience over the years. I know what it takes to put a record together, so I'm not looking for people to come in and shape it."
