New Zealand-born Tv personality Charlotte Dawson has been found dead at her apartment in Sydney, Australia.
The 47-year-old's body was discovered on Saturday morning (22Feb14) and a police spokesman has confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
The former model and Australia's Next Top Model judge had a history of depression and was hospitalised in 2012 after being bombarded by a series of horrific online messages urging her to commit suicide.
Dawson announced her retirement from showbusiness in 2013, insisting the pressure of life in the public eye made it extremely difficult to deal with her condition.
Hollywood actor and fellow New Zealander Russell Crowe was among the stars who paid tribute to Dawson on Saturday, writing in a Twitter.com post, "Charley D... Just don't understand. There's not enough kind souls as it is. Rest in peace."
Dawson's cause of death was not known as Wenn went to press.
