Studio executives at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have packaged up 7,000 Dvd copies of Skyfall for U.S. troops based overseas.

As part of Operation Gratitude, the newly-released James Bond film was included in care packages wrapped up on Tuesday (12Feb13).

The packages also include personal care items such as body wash, deodorant, shaving cream and other toiletries.

Operation Gratitude founder Carolyn Blashek tells online newspaper the Sherman Oaks Patch, "Skyfall is the most popular Bond film ever made and an action-packed film like this can really boost morale with our troops overseas."
