U2 Maintain European Crown

Irish rockers U2 have fought off competition from Lady GaGa, Kelly Clarkson and Annie Lennox to remain atop the European albums chart for a third consecutive week.
The One hitmakers' latest disc, No Line On The Horizon, keeps Lady Gaga's The Fame from climbing to the number one spot - her debut CD only moves up one place to take second.
Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted and Lennox's The Annie Lennox Collection are new entries at three and four respectively, while British dance act The Prodigy slip from two to five with Invaders Must Die.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga can take consolation in the European singles chart - her song Poker Face is still the most popular track on the continent.
Rapper Flo Rida's Right Round creeps up from number four to two, while James Morrison's duet with Nelly Furtado, Broken Strings, sits at three.
Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You falls two spots to number four, while U.K. pop star Alesha Dixon's The Boy Does Nothing leaps up 50 places to enter the top 40 chart at five.
