U2 stars Bono and The Edge are building up their business portfolios by ploughing cash into an internet storage firm.
The rockers, who made millions after investing in Facebook.com, have staked their money in Dropbox, a free service providing online storage for documents, photos and videos.
Bosses at the fledgling firm, which already boasts 50 million users, announced news of the investment in a post on Twitter.com.
They stated, "Dropbox is excited to welcome Bono & The Edge as investors. Thanks for the support and look forward to great things!"
The amount of money handed over by Bono and The Edge was not disclosed.
