U.k. Festival Cancelled Due To 'Increased Costs'
Dance duo Orbital, electro act Simian Mobile Disco and Tricky will miss out on a British festival slot this summer (10) after organisers scrapped the Glade music event in England.
The festival - a spin-off from legendary U.K. music bash Glastonbury - was slated to take place in Hampshire, England on 15 July (10), but organisers have been forced to call off the event due to increased "security" costs.
A statement from Glade bosses says, "Unexpected forced increases in security and police costs (and advanced ticket sales were) below our expectations."
Revellers are being offered full refunds.
