Vanilla Ice's Glastonbury performance was gatecrashed by a group of celebrities last night (24.06.10).

The 90s hip hop star was belting out a version of his hit single 'Ice Ice Baby' to a crowd of screaming fans, when Jade Jagger led a group of pals onto the stage with cheers of "stage invasion".

The 42-year-old singer was performing at the PlayStation 3 SingStar area at the renowned Somerset music festival yesterday when Jade, socialite Pixie Geldof and actress-and-director Samantha Morton turned up to watch.

An onlooker said: "They loved it! Jade was throwing her arms up in the air, chanting to the crowd, trying to get them in the spirit. Pixie was trying to hide under her hoodie, but even she had a dance too."

The trio sang along at the side of the stage before rushing out back to have their photos taken with the rapper - real name Robert Matthew Van Winkle - after his set.

Fortunately, Robert doesn't mind being accosted by female fans.

He told BANG Showbiz: "It's not a bad thing. It is definitely not a bad thing, I guess. I don't have words for it!"

Robert performed at Glastonbury to celebrate 'Ice Ice Baby' being one of karaoke game SingStar's most popular tracks of all times.

He explained: "I didn't know anything about Glastonbury before I came. Until we drove over the hill and saw all the tents. And I realised it was a huge deal.

"I'm not going to sleep while I'm here. I'm just going to hang out. I'm going to make the best of it. I won't go out in the daytime though because I'll be mobbed! I'm ok with it - I shake a hand, make a friend, but I don't do the whole Rock Star thing."
