Victoria Beckham stepped out at the UK Glamour Awards earlier this week in full eight-months-pregnant glory, and joked "Maternity leave - what's that? I've been working incredibly hard so I'm prepared for next season." The mother of three has successfully made the transition from Spice Girls star to fashion designer and business woman, and picked up the coveted 'Accessory Designer of the Year' and 'GLAMOUR Women of the Year' awards at the ceremony. She told UK Glamour that she was too excited about the upcoming fashion season to take any time off, and that she was in a similar situation to working mums the world over, commenting: "Being a working mum is hard - I think women can relate to me when I say it's like juggling glass balls."
The style icon also claimed that she doesn't see her clothing line as a job, and that her passion is to make women feel good through her work as a designer: "My husband and children will always be my priority. But for me, what I do professionally doesn't feel like a job - it's my passion. It's been a really exciting time for me. It's my passion to make women look and feel beautiful and the highest compliment I can receive is when women enjoy what I'm doing." Whilst her dVb fashion brand goes from strength to strength, she plans to give birth to her first baby girl on 4th July, to husband David Beckham, and their family home in Los Angeles.
