Victoria Beckham is reportedly set to land her first Vogue US cover.

The designer might be a regular on the front of the British edition of the fashion bible, but she has never graced the cover of the American magazine - until now.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Posh is in talks about an upcoming cover and a feature where she'll talk about leaving LA, David's move to Paris and her new daughter.

''It's a big deal, and she wants it. Editor Anna Wintour enjoys making people work for it.''

Victoria, 39, is expected to be styled head-to-toe her own label's designs, helping her promote her clothing line across the Atlantic, on top of giving a revealing interview about her personal life.

Former Spice Girl Victoria has covered British Vogue three times, as well as the Russian and Indian editions. The star was previously rumoured to be fronting the March 2012 US issue, but it turned out to be a shorter interview.

Should she secure the coveted slot, she will join the likes of Beyonce, Carey Mulligan and Michelle Obama as 2013 cover girls.

Victoria is known for her sophisticated dresses and business-appropriate attire, but is likely to make a more daring statement on the cover and stray from her signature style.

She recently revealed she has no fashion regrets, saying: ''I love fashion, and I love changing my style, my hair, my make-up, and everything I've done in the past has made me what I am now.''
