Vivienne Jolie-pitt To Make Movie Debut In 'Maleficent'
It's probably not hard to get your big break in Hollywood when your mother is Angelina Jolie but still the world's media has gone a little bit weak at the knees with news that Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will be acting in Ange's forthcoming movie, Maleficent. Angelina Jolie's daughter Vivienne will be playing the role of the young Princess Aurora and a source told The Sun that "Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share and Viv is a natural." Well, with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as her parents, you would think she would be, really. The gene pool combination must surely worked out in her favour.
It's only a minor role but could well give four year-old Viv a taste of the Hollywood lifestyle. The rest of Ange's brood are reportedly a little jealous over Vivienne's appointment in the movie and are apparently queuing up to be the next Jolie / Pitt co-star. "The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles," the source revealed. The older version of Princess Aurora will be played by Elle Fanning, and also starring in the movie are Sam Riley, Juno Temple and Miranda Richardson.
Maleficent is a progression of the Sleeping Beauty tale. Maleficent is Sleeping Beauty's evil nemesis (played by Angelina Jolie), with the beauty known in the film as Princess Aurora. The film will be shot at Pinewood Studios, in the UK and is scheduled for release in 2014.
