Scarlett Johansson was joined by her close friend and Avengers co-star Jeremy Renner at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Thursday (May 3, 2012) and the acting buddies could be teaming up again in the near future.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Johansson and Renner could play husband and wife in a revival of Tennessee Williams classic play 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'. Oscar winner Renner has revealed that he is considering starring as 'Brick', alongside Johansson's 'Maggie' in the show later this year. The actress is no stranger to the stage, having won a Tony Award for her role in Arthur Miller's 'A View From The Bridge' in 2010. They wouldn't be the only Hollywood stars to be hitting Broadway this year -teen heartthrob Nick Jonas played J. Pierrepont Finch in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', while Justin Long made his debut in March playing a writing student in 'Seminar'. Just two weeks ago, Grammy winner Usher made a cameo appearance in the off-Broadway show 'Fuerza Bruta', which combines vigorous dancing and acrobatics.
Scarlett Johansson stars as 'The Black Widow' in Joss Whedon's all-conquering 'The Avengers', while Renner plays Hawkeye.
