WANDA JACKSON, the legendary American country singer and 'Rock and Roll Hall of Famer', performed live with Jack White on an episode of the Conan O'Brien show this week.
WANDA JACKSON played new material from her recently released record 'The Party Ain't Over' when she performed live on the chat show with singer and guitarist Jack White. The White Stripes man has produced Jackson's new record and the pair played the song 'Funnel of Love' in front of Conan's live studio audience.
Following the performance both Jackson and White moved to the sofa to chat about the new record, and the 73-year-old spoke about the time when she toured with Elvis Presley. Later, O'Brien held a vinyl copy of Jackson's new record and acclaimed, "Get this. It's fantastic!" The album, a collection of covers, was recorded at White's 'Third Man' studios in Nashville and features a rendition of Johnny Kidd's 'Shaking All Over' as well as a version of Amy Winehouse's 'You Know I'm No Good', which the country singer recently performed on Jools Holland's 'Hootenanny!'.
Jackson will play a show in Malaga, Spain, in February before returning to the US to play concerts in Boston, New York, Washington, and Dallas.
