Wendie Malick - Wendie Malick Not Scared Of Aging After Turning 60
Wendie Malick, the American actress and former fashion model who turned 60-years-old yesterday (13th December 2010) says aging should not be something to be scared of, and cited Betty White as being an inspiration to older woman, reports People Magazine.
Malick, who has starred in a number of hit shows including 'Frasier', and 'Just Shoot Me', says her 'Hot in Cleveland' co-star White is "the greatest example" of how "aging is not scary". Speaking at the 'Help Group's 14th Annual Teddy Bear Ball' in Beverly Hills last week, Malick said, "Women don't have an expiration date. Turning 60 could be a bit daunting. I wasn't sure how I would deal with it. But now I feel like I'm just hitting my stride. It's all good - great husband, great friends, good life". The actress is currently shooting season 2 of 'Hot in Cleveland' with Jane Leeves, Valerie Bertinelli, and BETTY WHITE. The series follows three entertainment industry veterans from Los Angeles, whose lives are changed after their Paris-bound plane lands in Cleveland, Ohio.
Malick later spoke to OnTheRedCarpet.com about filming the new series, saying, "This show is, I think, so much about celebrating women in every stage in their lives and I am in such excellent company to do that".
