One of Kanye West's Fatburger fast food restaurants has closed in Chicago, Illinois due to disappointing sales figures.
The rapper expanded his empire last year (10) after buying 10 more franchises of the diner through his KW Foods LLC holding company.
But West's Fatburger eaterie in Orland Park, which he opened in 2008, has closed its doors after a review of its "financial viability".
Bosses at the hip-hop star's company are now reportedly searching for an alternative venue in the area to replace the restaurant.
Marketing co-ordinator, Maria Brooks, says in a statement, "From time to time, Fatburger Corporation and our franchisees routinely review the performance of each of our stores, and make business decisions regarding their continued financial viability.
"It's unfortunate that the Orland Park location owned by Kanye West Foods, LLC has closed, but we hope to have a presence in the Orland Park community at some time in the future."
