Amy Winehouse is to make a major comeback in 2010, according to the troubled star's music label bosses.
The Back To Black hitmaker disappeared from the music scene last year (08) as her drink and drug habits spiralled out of control.
After a short stint in rehab, Winehouse spent eights months in the Caribbean in a bid to ditch her addictions and get her recording career back on track.
She returned to Britain earlier this year (09) and her parents have confirmed she is finally free of drugs.
Winehouse has made several brief appearances at gigs over the summer (09), including a surprise appearance at Britain's V Festival - and now her music label bosses have announced she has been hard at work in the studio, and her third album looks set for a 2010 release.
Island Records co-president Darcus Beese, says, "I've heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. (She has been writing and recording) "in fits and starts. Hopefully we'll have her album next year."
The singer is set to make her TV return on Saturday (10Oct09) night, singing backing vocals for her teenage goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield, on British talent show Strictly Come Dancing.
