Amy Winehouse is boosting her chances of a successful comeback - by undergoing breast enhancement surgery, according to U.K. reports.
The Back To Black star is poised to return to the charts in 2010 when she releases her third album - her first studio material in over three years.
After struggling to banish her drink and drugs demons in London, the star jetted to the Caribbean for a eight-month break away from temptation and the limelight.
But the damage to her drug-ravaged body has left the star insecure, and she has undergone $52,000 (£35,000) of cosmetic surgery in a bid to return to her sexy former self, reports Britain's The Sun newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "She looks amazing, like a new woman. Amy told us she wanted a new look - it's all part of her fresh start for her big comeback.
"We all feared she'd fallen off the wagon when she came in. Then we saw her bouncing around with these huge boobs which stand out as she's so tiny and skinny."
The singer reportedly underwent the procedure last week (ends04Oct09) in preparation for providing backing vocals for her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield when she makes her debut TV performance on British talent show Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday (10Oct09).
A spokesman for the star admits Winehouse was in hospital, but for a "routine procedure".
