Rockers Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor took to the stage at London's 100 Club on Wednesday (01Dec10) as part of a benefit show to save the famed venue.
Club bosses organised the gig in the hope it would raise vital funds to stay open into 2011, after crippling rent costs in the U.K. capital threatened to close the venue.
Wood has long supported the 100 Club and he teamed up with Taylor, the guitarist he replaced in The Rolling Stones, to headline the one-off gig, along with jazz musician Chris Barber, according to BBC's 6 Music.
A post on the website's Twitter.com page states, "Ronnie Wood now on stage with Mick Taylor and Chris Barber at 100 Club all to save the venue which is threatened with closure."
Owner Jeff Horton could be forced to close the 100 Club at Christmas (10) unless he receives enough aid to help him with the spiralling costs.
The Pixies rocker Frank Black is rumoured to have donated a massive $150,000 (£100,000) to the cause.
