British actors Stephen Moyer and James Frain have brought World Cup fever to the set of hit U.S. TV show TRUE BLOOD - they've persuaded producers to let them watch the soccer games while they work.
Soccer-mad Moyer joined forces with the True Blood newcomer, and fellow Brit, to request TV bosses let them follow the English team in the tournament once it kicks off on Friday (11Jun10).
And the pair is delighted producers agreed to have a live feed streamed on to the set while they film series three of the vampire show in California.
Moyer tells Access Hollywood, "I will be watching every game. We have a live stream next to the camera."
Frain jokes, "I've actually got written permission from (director) Alan Ball to see the World Cup games. It was a deal in the contract going in."

I am an American football fan, but I know a couple of soccer - ok, football - fans, and they are rabid! I guess it's in the genes. I'm happy for Mr. Moyer, and Mr. Frain, and I'm sure the producers think it's better to have satisfied vampires on the set, rather than cranky ones!
