Legendary wrestler Ric Flair is mourning the loss of his son after he was found dead at the age of 25.
Richard Reid Fliehr, who was a wrestler like his father, was discovered unresponsive in his hotel room in North Carolina on Friday (29Mar13).
Police are investigating the cause of death but reveal there are no signs of foul play.
A statement issued by his agent to Tmz.com reads: "We are heartbroken to confirm that Ric's son, Reid Fliehr, has passed away today March 29, 2013 in Charlotte, Nc. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. No words can describe the grief that Ric and his family are experiencing and they do request privacy during this devastating time."
Fliehr, who was known in the ring as Reid Flair, began competing in the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling at the age of nine. He recently wrapped up a series of matches in Japan.
The star struggled with drugs in the past and was arrested three times in the last seven years, with police once allegedly finding heroin during a search of his car following an accident.
