Comedy writer Joe Bodolai has been found dead in an apparent suicide, according to a report.
The former Saturday Night Live writer, 63, who helped pen the first draft of classic movie Wayne's World, was found dead on Monday (26Dec11) at a hotel in Los Angeles by cleaners.
According to Tmz.com, police found a bottle of anti-freeze liquid in the room.
In a post on his blog on Friday (23Dec11), titled If This Was Your Last Day Alive What Would You Do?, Bodolai listed "Stuff I Would Like to Have Seen In My Life" and "Things I Regret", which included his "inability to conquer my alcoholism".
He also listed "Things I Am Proud Of", which include his family, his work on U.S. TV show Saturday Night Live, and "writing the first draft of Wayne's World with Mike Myers".
Bodolai ended the post with the message, "May you all have the happy lives you deserve. Thank you all for being in my life."
