Yoko Ono is working on a special art installation for a gallery in Delhi, India to highlight the challenges facing modern women.
John Lennon's widow will present her creation at the Vadhera Art Gallery as part of its Our Beautiful Daughters exhibition, which will also include some of Ono's films and music, as well as her collaborations with the late Beatle.
She tells the Bbc, "India was always on my radar. I have been there with my husband John a long time ago. Karma-wise it is interesting that I have been asked to come to the country I love and respect at this time when the world is going haywire."
And Ono, who was "inspired by India and its daughters", can't wait to return to the country.
She adds, "I would like to see that the ancient spirit of India is still intact and strong in the hearts of people."
The Our Beautiful Daughters show is scheduled to run from 13 January (12) to 10 March (12).
