Aspiring rapper Young Vito has been charged with the murder of hip-hop star Slim Dunkin.
Young Vito, real name Vinson Hardimon, stands accused of fatally shooting up-and-coming star Dunkin during a heated altercation in a recording studio on 16 December (11).
The 28-year-old suspect surrendered to cops shortly afterwards (26Dec11) and was taken into custody as detectives continued to investigate the case.
According to AllHipHop.com, Hardimon has been formally charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
No court date has been set as yet.
