Yvette Vickers Could Have Been Dead For A Year
YVETTE VICKERS, the 82-year-old American actress and former Playboy playmate, could have been dead for up to a year, according to NBC Los Angeles. YVETTE VICKERS' body was found by a neighbour in Beverly Hills last week after they had noticed yellowing letters and cobwebs in the her mailbox.
Authorities were called and Vickers body was taken from the dilapidated house. Reports say that the actress' remains were "mummified" and it was estimated that she could have been dead for up to a year. The neighbour, identified as Susan Savage, said that the actress kept herself to herself but the increasingly poor condition of her house had raised the alarms, saying, "We've all been crying about this. Nobody should be left alone like that". Vickers will be best remembered her appearances in the 1958 B-movie 'Attack of the 50 Foot Woman' and 1959's 'Attack of the Giant Leeches'. She also had a small role in the Paul Newman film 'Hud' in 1963. Her last movie role came in 1990 when he starred in the horror flick 'Evil Spirits'.
YVETTE VICKERS was once married to the bass player DON PRELL, but the couple divorced in 1957. Two years later, she wed the writer LEONARD BURNS but the marriage ended within the space of one year.
