Zachary Levi - Zachary Levi Has High Hopes For Disney's Tangled
Zachary Levi, the 30-year-old American actor who recently completed work on Disney's new animated movie 'Tangled', says he has high hopes for the film and is 'proud' of everyone who worked on the project, reports the Vancouver Sun. Levi voiced the character of 'Flynn Ryder' for the 3D movie which is a contemporary adaptation of the 'Rapunzel' fable, about a girl with 70 feet of hair who is imprisoned in a tower.
Discussing the film, Levi said, "I am proud of Tangled. Not just of me, but everybody involved with it", before revealing his love for Mandy Moore's 'Rapunzel', saying, "Between the freckles and the giant green eyes and the overwhelming enthusiasm and purity of heart, I was swooning. The first time I saw the movie, I was like, 'Gosh, I wish she was real'". 'Tangled' looks set to become Levi's biggest movie to date, however, he did have a role in 2006's 'Big Momma's House 2' but when speaking about his character Levi says, "I don't even remember my name in that movie". When asked about whether he will star in the forthcoming 'Chipmunks 3D' film, the actor was unsure, saying, "I don't know. Nobody's called me about it."
Levi says getting to work on 'Tangled' was a dream come true, adding, "I was such a huge fan of Disney animated musicals. Now I get to sing and act in one, so check it off my bucket list". The film hit cinemas in the US on November 24th 2010 and will be released in the UK on 28th January 2011.
