JIMMY CARL BLACK, the original drummer for Frank Zappa's MOTHERS OF INVENTION, has lost his battle with lung cancer.
Black died on Sunday (02Nov08). He was 70.
He was a member of the cult act from 1964 to 1970, and he had a starring role in Zappa's 1971 film 200 Motels.
