Lily Allen would swap Christmas for Glastonbury.

The 29-year-old singer, who has been to the music festival at Worthy Farm every year except one, can't wait to perform at the famous event for the fourth time next week after the release of her new album 'Sheezus'.

Speaking to DJ Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's Breakfast Show, she said: ''I go in hard. I was six-weeks-old the first time I went. I mean I would trade Christmas for Glastonbury.

''I didn't go once. But yeah I've been every year, even when I was preggers.''

Lily is joined on the bill by headliners Arcade Fire, Kasbaian and Metallica, along with Ed Sheeran, Dolly Parton and other big name artists.

The main stage holds a special place in Lily's heart, because it's where she first started romancing her husband Sam Cooper when she performed and the pair now have two children, Ethel, two, and Marnie, 16 months.

She said: ''I've only ever played on the Pyramid Stage, but it's a nice story though because the last time I played it and Sam, my husband, we got together that night! And now it's five years later and we have two children.

''We'd known each other since I was a teenager, but we decided we fancied each other on the night I played Glastonbury last.''

The 'Hard Out Here' singer also revealed her father, actor Keith Allen, is a Glastonbury veteran and has already set up camp at the site in Somerset, even though the event doesn't start until Wednesday (25.06.14).

She said: ''My dad's been there for a week, yeah he's setting up. He's taking a hot tub. Yes! He's quite funny.

''I'm a bit worried though because when my dad goes down to Glastonbury a month before it starts, I'm sort of worried about what sort of state he's going to be in by the time I get there.''
