Actor Nicolas Cage has had an X-rated encounter with an uninvited intruder at his California home.
Police were called to the Con Air star's property after he found Robert Dennis Furo inside, wearing nothing but one of the actor's leather jackets.
Mr Furo, 45, has been released on bail of $50,000 (£24,500) after pleading not guilty to a charge of residential burglary.
Cage caught the intruder in the middle of the night at his oceanfront home in Newport Beach, around 80 kilometres south of Los Angeles, confirmed Farrah Emami, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles district attorney.
The 43-year-old actor, an Oscar-winner for his performance as an alcoholic in Leaving Las Vegas, called a security guard at his gated community after seeing Mr Furo standing outside a bathroom door at around 01:30 local time, said Orange County Police lieutenant Craig Fox.
"He was standing there naked - except for the leather jacket," Fox said.
By the time police officers had arrived, Cage had asked the naked prowler to remove the leather jacket and had escorted him outside, "without a struggle", according to Lt Fox.
Mr Furo will face a preliminary court hearing on October 10th and could face up to six years in prison if convicted.
