Nicolas Cage, Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford are on producers' wish lists to join the cast of The Expendables for a second sequel.
Sylvester Stallone recruited action men like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture and Mickey Rourke for his first film, and he has added Liam Hemsworth, Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris to the cast for the upcoming sequel.
Now franchise producer Avi Lerner has revealed his plans for another Expendables movie - and he has some more Hollywood big guns slated to share the screen with the all-star cast.
He tells Total Film magazine, "We've approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we've got a character in mind for him. We're talking to Harrison Ford... I'll give you one more name, we've got Nicolas Cage to play (one of the characters)."
And Lerner insists there may even be a role for incarcerated Blade star Wesley Snipes "when he comes back from prison".
