Jack White fully revealed his comeback, this time in solo form, today with a premiering new video on Vimeo and a host of US tour dates to announce. If this is what it's come to you wonder why he spent all that time dithering around with all those side projects, but we digress. The video for his song 'Love Interruption,' a cannily-timed ode to the mythical feeling that makes card companies the world over millions on this day, February 14th, sees White and his backing vocalist Ruby Amanfu sharing a microphone in a relatively stripped clip that focuses largely on the two of them in varying degree of camera focus.
The track was first made available at the end of last month as White revealed he'd also be releasing a full album on April 23rd entitled 'Blunderbuss,' and additionally to that he's now revealed he'll be playing a number of shows, according to the NME, kicking off on March 10th in Chattanooga and finishing up on the 15th in Tulsa.
A statement from the musician said, "I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colours on my own canvas."
