The Wonderwall hitmakers split in 2009 and have been dogged by reunion rumours ever since, which guitarist Gallagher has frequently denied.

However, the speculation reached fever pitch last month (Apr15) when Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis revealed he was lining up a special headline event involving two British acts who will be "joining forces".

It sparked rumours Gallagher, who tours with a band as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Liam - whose group Beady Eye split last year (14) - would be taking to the stage together, but the rocker has again ruled out any reunion.

In an interview on U.K. talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, he said, "Well, as enticing as that sounds, I don't think it's going to happen. Sorry."

When host Carr asked if a reunion is "closer to actually happening", the rocker replied, "No. No. What more can I say? I've got nothing more to say on it that I haven't already said. It's not going to happen. No, I can't be a**ed."
