Noomi Rapace sometimes felt ''a mess'' after shooting sci-fi horror movie 'Prometheus'.
The Swedish actress - who is best known for her part in the original 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' movie -plays the role of Elizabeth Shaw in the forthcoming Sir Ridley Scott-directed 'Alien' prequel, and she admits she sometimes struggled with the intense and disturbing things she had to do in character.
She said: ''We were doing quite Disturbed things some days and it was quite tough and you came home and your mind and your soul and your body were a mess, but I always felt really happy.
''It never felt like I was carrying something really heavy on my shoulders, even though it was quite tough some days; it always felt like we were doing something together.''
Despite being happy, the 32-year-old star - who recently starred in 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' - admits the movie did affect her because she had nightmares about the film for ''two weeks''.
She added to BANG Showbiz: ''I dreamt nightmares for two weeks. I had these weird f**ked up images in my head, so yes it did affect us.''
