Gallagher Vetoes U.s. Move Over Accent Fears
Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher refuses to move to the U.S., because he doesn't want his kids to grow up with American accents.
The guitarist admits he is tempted to swap Britain for a life in sunny Los Angeles, with his partner Sara MACDonald, their eighteen-month-old son Donovan and his daughter Anais from his marriage to Meg Mathews.
But he's scared of his kids sounding American.
Gallagher explains, "L.A., I've kind of grown to love it, and I never thought I'd say that. I'd probably love to get a house in between Madonna and Robbie Williams, it'd be brilliant.
"I'm not sure I could ever actually live out there, I don't think it'd be fair on the kids. I'm not gonna (sic) have a child with an American accent, calling me 'pop'."
