Olivia Newton-John is excited about her upcoming concerts, because she hopes the audience's adoration will heal the pain of her boyfriend Patrick McDermott's mysterious disappearance.

The GREASE star was left broken-hearted after her longterm lover tragically went missing during a fishing trip off the California coast in June (05).

Preparing for her performances, set to take place at the Sydney Opera House in her native Australia later this year (06), is helping her deal with her grief.

She says, "The whole show has that (uplifting) feeling. It's also healing for me as well as the audience, and I need that.

"The show is as much for me as it is for them."

The PHYSICAL singer is promoting her new album, the prophetically titled, STRONGER THAN BEFORE.

She adds, "It's ironic that it (the album) was recorded and released before anything happened."
