One Direction are covering Blondie's 'One Way Or Another' at the Brit Awards.

The 'Kiss You' hitmakers will be taking to the stage on February 20, alongside singers such as Robbie Williams and Beyonce, to perform their Comic Relief charity single and the boys hope their track will raise awareness for the cause.

Member Niall Horan said: ''We are really excited to be part of Red Nose Day this year. We recorded Blondie's 'One Way or Another' and we really want the song to raise lots of money and for people to show their support by going out and buying themselves a copy.''

Fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson added: ''Getting the chance to perform Blondie's song will be incredible. We're so excited! Red Nose Day is a great excuse to have a lot of fun and to raise money, please get involved.''

Although the group - also formed of Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - are looking forward to the ceremony, Liam admitted they will still be nervous performing with the likes of such big stars.

He said: ''We will be nervous, it's mad just to be on the same stage as people like that. You know, we're still massively getting used to it I feel.''

Harry previously revealed how ''honoured'' he is to have been invited to take part in the campaign - which raises money for famine in Ethiopia - as he grew up watching the popular show on TV.

He said: ''We have grown up with Comic Relief and taken parts in lots of Red Nose Days at school so we were thrilled to be asked to this year's Red Nose Day Single.

''It's such an honour for us. We can't wait to perform our version of this iconic pop song and raise as much money as possible for this incredibly important cause that is really close to our hearts.''
