Promoters in Ireland have banned glow sticks, umbrellas, and plastic bottles from an upcoming set of One Direction concerts after Harry Styles was injured by a fan's flying shoe during a gig last month (Feb13).

The One Thing hitmakers were performing in Glasgow, Scotland on 26 February (13), when an enthusiastic reveller thew a shoe onstage, striking Styles in the groin. The star fell to the floor in pain.

To make sure the boy band members feel totally safe onstage ahead of a four-night residency at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which kicks off on Thursday (07Mar13), promoters have created a list of items that won't be allowed into the venue.

They also include glass goods, recording equipment and professional cameras, according to BBC News.
