Oprah Winfrey has acknowledged making "101 mistakes" in launching OWN, her cable channel and "absolutely" would have considered doing "something else" if she had realized how difficult the project really was. Appearing on CBS This Morning on Monday Winfrey said that the channel went on the air "when we really weren't ready to launch." She compared it to 'having the wedding when you know you're not ready, and you're walking down the aisle, and you're saying, 'I don't know if we should be walking down the aisle, maybe we should have postponed this.'" She then awkwardly delivered a signature learning lesson from her experience "Because you failed at something -- which, we haven't failed -- but because you failed, does not make you a failure. And when you know that in The Core of yourself, you can keep trying, or you can use whatever is happening in that moment to say, 'Maybe I need to move in a new direction.'" For now, she said, she'll keep trying.
