Kelly Osbourne wants to play her mother in a film about her father.

The presenter's famous parent Sharon Osbourne is currently working on a biopic of her husband, rocker Ozzy Osbourne, and Kelly is determined to land one of the lead roles - though she is concerned about the prospect of some of the scenes.

She said: "I'll definitely audition to play my mum. I don't know if I'll get it, but Mum has always said that I should go for it because we're so alike. But it'd be a bit weird having to make out with someone playing my dad!"

If Kelly does land the part, she won't be starring alongside Colin Farrell, despite recent speculation linking the 'Phone Booth' actor to the role of the former Black Sabbath frontman.

She explained in her column for Closer magazine: "It's been rumoured that Colin Farrell is playing my dad in the film of his life, which my mum is producing. With the greatest respect, at 34 Colin's just too old for the role!

"We need someone who's about 18, and my mum and the film makers want to get an unknown actor."
