Winter's over. Summer's just round the corner. We know, because Homelands, the first festival of the year, is back and it has evolved into something new.

Welcome to the summer of We Love… Homelands.
We love homelands is evolving, creating, changing, constructing, decommissioning and perfecting its well honed format. It's birth as Homelands to its evolution as We Love Homelands is seamless, inventive, irreverent and optimistic.

Just as the DJ has evolved to become the performer, producer, creator and not just simply a presenter of the music, but an integral part of it's creation, the event must also evolve. So this year, Homelands moves in step with the ever-changing musical landscape, combining new ideas, attitudes, tastes and communities. The producers of this year's biggest outdoor party are the Mean Fiddler Music Group - responsible for a decade and a half of unforgettable festivals at Reading, Leeds, and Glastonbury. Meanwhile, the directors are the We Love… posse, promoters behind Ibiza's We Love…Sundays At Space and the start of series of groundbreaking parties in the UK. Both come together in the stunning rural setting of Matterley Bowl, Hampshire, to create a music festival that breaks down boundaries between dance, hip-hop, rock and pop.

This year, Matterley Bowl is the field of dreams: nine arenas, 60 DJs, sensational live acts, 35,000 party goers and 64,800 seconds (18 hours, if you prefer) combine into the all-night al-fresco disco extravangza that's as crucial a fixture as the Notting Hill Carnival, the Reading Festival, Glastonbury and New Year's Eve.
We Love… Homelands dispenses with the tired arguments over genres names and shades of meaning, and instead offers dance, hip hop, R&B, Rock and Pop acts recruited on one criteria only: they absolutely rock the place.
